This year--now that Chad is working for Delta and we get to fly for free--Chad went to Park City and Las Vegas to spend time with his family, and then flew to Oregon to spend a few days with my family. I was so happy that he was able to take such a long vacation, as he works really hard and deserves the break. It's especially nice because he's starting his residency next month and will be working A LOT!!! UGH!
Unfortunately I have a job (that's me...the sugar mamma) and couldn't take quite as long of a vacation. I was able to take a short 4-day trip to see my family in Oregon and go to my sister Kim's baby shower. Isn't she just the cutest mom-to-be you've ever seen? :-) So much fun! Chad's trip was a bit more action-packed...he went snowboarding (Yes, there's still enough snow in Utah to hit the slopes in May!), horseback riding, and traveled around the West spending time with friends and family.
We both had a fabulous time! We really enjoyed the weather...especailly the no humidity! (I actually had OK hair for once!) And most of all, we had tons of fun just spending time with our families. We miss them so much and wish we could see them more often!

Did you tell me Kim was prego? I had no idea?! Congrats :) Looks like fun! And look at your adorable hair! I love it long and dark! You look so cute with both long and short hair! LUCKY! Miss you!
