Our Story

Welcome to our blog! Here's the quick and dirty about us:

Chad and I met on our first day of college at Utah State University. We started studying together, since we were in the same math class and lived in the same apartment building. But, those late-night study sessions quickly turned into excuses to hang out together. And that's how our story began. After two years of dating, we tied the knot on August 17, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We currently live in Tucson, Arizona. We moved here after living in South Florida for five years, where Chad graduated from medical school and completed his internship year of residency. He is now working for the University of Arizona completing a three-year anesthesiology residency. I was fortunate enough to keep my job from Florida and now work remotely from home. I am the manager of advertising and communications for the business school at Nova Southeastern University.

And--most importantly--Chad and I are thrilled to be parents! Our little angel Reece was born on Jan. 26, 2010 and our handsome little Jace was born on June 30, 2011. We are so blessed to be the mom and dad of such darling and sweet kids.

Baby "Sprinkle" Shower

On Saturday all of my Tucson friends got together and threw me a darling baby shower! I was "Sprinkled" with so much love and such cute gifts (I'm totally spoiled)! Thanks to everyone who came and helped coordinate the shower. I had a wonderful time and am so thankful for the love and support I have from my friends.


Below are some photos from the party. The first is a game that we played to help name my little boy. Chad and I go back and forth everyday between these three names. Rhett was the overwhelming winner at the shower! I guess we'll have to wait and see...








It was evident that I have true friends when I got a tower of donuts at my shower...only Meghan would have remembered my obsession! :) All of the food was amazing. Thanks to everyone who brought something...my mouth is still watering!





Grandma B (aka Beverly) was so sweet to host my shower at her house. Thanks Bev!



Meghan worked so hard coordinating my shower...from the cute "Sprinkle" theme, to the yummy food, all the way to the darling decorations. Thank you for EvErYtHiNg Meg!!!


Here is my first pregnancy belly shot...36 weeks big! Can't wait to meet my little guy...who still remains nameless despite the voting results at the baby shower! :)

are you sure you are 36 weeeks pregnant? you look so tiny! and um... I'm waiting on a call back from a dear friend of mine I called like a month ago.. just say'n ;) I'm glad you had a fab shower! I'm so excited for you and chad and reece!!
