Our Story
Welcome to our blog! Here's the quick and dirty about us:
Chad and I met on our first day of college at Utah State University. We started studying together, since we were in the same math class and lived in the same apartment building. But, those late-night study sessions quickly turned into excuses to hang out together. And that's how our story began. After two years of dating, we tied the knot on August 17, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We currently live in Tucson, Arizona. We moved here after living in South Florida for five years, where Chad graduated from medical school and completed his internship year of residency. He is now working for the University of Arizona completing a three-year anesthesiology residency. I was fortunate enough to keep my job from Florida and now work remotely from home. I am the manager of advertising and communications for the business school at Nova Southeastern University.
And--most importantly--Chad and I are thrilled to be parents! Our little angel Reece was born on Jan. 26, 2010 and our handsome little Jace was born on June 30, 2011. We are so blessed to be the mom and dad of such darling and sweet kids.
Jace's Blessing
Jace Robert Crowther was given a name and a blessing on Sunday, September 4th. He looked so adorable in his little white suit (thanks Aunt Kimmie!) and his monogrammed shoes (thanks Grandma Knutson!). Jace was just over 9 weeks old on his blessing day. He did wonderful...not a peep did he make while dad gave him the sweetest blessing. It was a very special day!
We were so blessed to have most of the Crowther family here for the blessing. They all traveled here to spend the weekend with us. Thank you so much Papa and Nana, Aunt Callee and Mason and Landon, and Uncle Andy and Aunt Jenae and William and Siena and Jocelyn and soon-to-arrive baby Jack! It meant so much to us that you came. And Reece was in heaven and had a blast playing with all her cousins!

Just a quick update on Jace: He weighed 12 lbs. 12 oz. on his 2 month birthday. He was in the 90 percentile for height...so he is tall just like his big sis! But he is much more chunky! :) He is starting to discover the world and makes to cutest little noises and koos. He is starting to smile and recognizes the sound of mom and dad's voice. He sleeps between 4-6 hours consecutively at night (usually...depending on the night) and is a great eater. He is so special and we couldn't image our little family without him. We love you J-Bob! :)

Oh, Jace is so handsome! I love that his name is on his little booties. That is so sweet! Beautiful pictures!
