Happy Ween

In the words of Reece, "Happy Ween!" We had a fun Halloween this year. We kicked off the festivities with a trip to the local pumpkin patch to pick out the best pumpkin in town. Reece loved riding in the Radio Flyer wagon. Then, we went to the annual Halloween party with our friends on the Friday before Halloween, where Chad won the pumpkin carving contest (no tracing paper required). As you can see, we went with the family cowboy costume theme this year. Reece was the cutest little cow in town, Chad and Jace were farmers, and I was your average Rodeo Queen. :) On Halloween we went to the Trunk-or-Treat at our church, and then Reece went around the neighborhood Trick-or-Treating. She had been carrying around her pumpkin bucket for weeks, so she was so excited to finally get to fill it with candy on the big night! She figured it out in no time, and quickly went from door to door "knocking," saying "happy ween," and getting loaded with candy! She had a ball...and responded on que with a "moo" when people asked her what a cow says. We all had a great time, and are getting really sick of eating candy!
