Welcome to Debbie and Chad Crowther's blog. (We're excited to have entered the modern day world of blogging technology!) We hope you enjoy viewing our blog, and checking out some of the fun things we're doing. Let's start with a brief intro!
Chad and Deb have been married for 5 years (as of Aug. 17, 07) and currently live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Chad is in his 4th year of medical school at Nova Southeastern University, and Debbie is working as the Manager of Advertising and Communications for the business school at Nova. She is also two semsters shy of finishing her master's degree in business management (graduating in April 2008...just one month before Chad's graduation! We are planning a celebration trip to Costa Rica!)
Living in Florida has been wonderful...except for the hurricanes, humidity, and the rude people. :-) We've done lots of fun things while living here, like going to the beach, theme parks, tours to the everglades, trips to the Keys, and much more. Luckily, living in Florida is a great vacation spot; we are happy to have had lots of visitors who opt for free lodging at the Crowther Inn (accommodations are sometimes sparse in our 2 bedroom condo...but it must be worth the price becuase people keep coming back!) We are also really blessed to have made some really great friends here! Surprisingly enough, there are lots other poor, struggling students just like us! You'd be surprised at how much fun you can have without much money! (We Mormons are very creative!)
We love living in Florida, but are also looking forward to being graduated and getting one step closer to our career and family goals. It will also be nice living a little closer to our families! But looking back, moving to Florida was the best decision we could have made and wouldn't change it for the world. Below are photos that help tell the story of our lives so far...enjoy!
