Our Story

Welcome to our blog! Here's the quick and dirty about us:

Chad and I met on our first day of college at Utah State University. We started studying together, since we were in the same math class and lived in the same apartment building. But, those late-night study sessions quickly turned into excuses to hang out together. And that's how our story began. After two years of dating, we tied the knot on August 17, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We currently live in Tucson, Arizona. We moved here after living in South Florida for five years, where Chad graduated from medical school and completed his internship year of residency. He is now working for the University of Arizona completing a three-year anesthesiology residency. I was fortunate enough to keep my job from Florida and now work remotely from home. I am the manager of advertising and communications for the business school at Nova Southeastern University.

And--most importantly--Chad and I are thrilled to be parents! Our little angel Reece was born on Jan. 26, 2010 and our handsome little Jace was born on June 30, 2011. We are so blessed to be the mom and dad of such darling and sweet kids.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??

It's officially football season...our favorite time of year!
(Please excuse the fact that we look like like a bunch of dorks in this picture. Sitting in the Florida humidity for long periods of time has a way of melting away your good looks. HA HA)
As you probably know, I was born and bread a BRONCOS fan...nothing will change that!! (no comments about their loss on Saturday night...we all know pre-season games don't matter!) But, even though I bleed mile-high orange and blue, living in South Florida has a way of making you a Dol-Fan (aka: Miami Dolphins Fan). One of the best perks about my job is getting free tickets to lots of local sporting events, including the Miami Dolphins games. Last Saturday, I got 3rd row seats on the 30 yard line to watch the Dolphins v. Buccaneers football game. It was pretty SWEET. It was fun sitting so close to the players...some are just ginormous!

Of course, Chad was really excited because he was able to see John Beck play (that's him playing QB in the photo above). Beck was the BYU quarterback who got drafted by the Dolphins last year. Of course, he usually only gets to play pre-season games because he's the third-string quarterback. So to Chad, it was a great game despite the fact that it was just pre-season. :-)

Unfortunately, the Dolphins couldn't pull out a "W." But that's OK. So long as they win two games this season they'll be 100% better than they were last season!! HA HA
GO BRONCOS!! I have a feeling...this is gonna be their year!! :-)

Hey! So the most random thing happened. I am doing my rotations right now and I am working in a family practice clinic in Southgate, MI. There is a new resident who just graduated from Nova and he knows you guys and now I can't remember his name. I will find out next week and let you all know, he is doing radiology. I hope everything is going good, do you plan on moving back to Utah? If so we should hang out, well hope to hear from you soon.
