I turned 27 years old on October 9th. Almost to the big 3-0...man I'm getting so old!! Here is a photo of my birthday cake. When Chad and I got married I told him the only thing I needed was to get a cake on my birthday. So, he decided to make this task a little more enjoyable for himself by making me "theme" cakes. In the past six years he's made me a castle, palm tree, sail boat, Denver Broncos football, and a cowboy hat. And this year Chad made me a cactus birthday cake...it was an attempt to get me more excited about moving to Tucson in June. He figured that he'd use my love of chocolate to persuade me to like the idea of living in cactus-land! I have to say, eating my delicious cactus cake certainly made me see cactus's in a new light. Who knows...maybe his trick worked??

Okay, that is adorable that he makes you theme cakes. How awesome is he...and talented? I am way impressed. Happy Birthday!!! We are exactly the same age. I too turned 27 this month. Nutty.
